I have conveyed, variously and 'sideways' of sorts to you that I take, this semester (fall) at ULouisville a 'public health' course social epidemiology; the course has now begun actively, and I am having some adventures trying to get the 'digital learning' tools online to work for me well;  for some days since beginning of term, there was no posted syllabus, and virtually most-content was not-to-be-gathered here.
More to vex, I found that the text for this course that was stipulated by U Bookstore around June was incorrect, and I am nearly impecunious thence but from EBay will get a so-called 'acceptable' edition of the text just prior to September.
In all, though, I am happy and delighted to take this course: its content and method isLIlike the sociology/social-work of my curriculum-prior; as well-- when UC Berkeley offered free online epidemiology, I took (audit) and really liked the course-- indeed there was a visiting Prof who showed in this course that was specialist in this social epidemiology, so I am 'a little' prepared for this Fall Term course now on this topic.
